About Alternative Breaks
Alternative Breaks provides opportunities for students to learn about social & environmental justice issues faced by members of diverse communities through education, direct service, and reflection. Immersing in new environments enables students to experience, discuss, and understand social & environmental issues in a significant way, ultimately, moving students toward action to make positive impact in their own communities.
