VRC Community Partners

Learn how your non-profit can work with the Volunteer Resource Center

The Volunteer Resource Center is connected to over 250 Community Partners in the Boulder/Denver Area. We are always looking to expand our programs and partnerships. We look for partnering community organizations that will share our educational agenda of developing CU students in their understanding of social issues and role as engaged and active citizens. Our most successful community relationships share this common goal and understand education and reflection as part of the mission of their organization. You can read more about our service philosophy and what we expect from our community partners.

Partnering with the VRC allows community organizations to be added to our internal database which we use during our referral process with student-volunteers, gives community organizations an opportunity to post upcoming events that they need volunteers for on our website, and participate in our events, including a Volunteer Fair each semester, among many other benefits.

If you would like to become one of our Community Partners, please fill out our Community Organization Information Form. This will give us detailed information about your organization and your volunteer needs.  After submitting your information, you will be contacted by a VRC staff member.

Other Helpful Resources:

In addition to sending us your information, you might consider doing the following to locate volunteers:

  • Identify a CU-Boulder Student Group or Student Affairs Department that aligns with your organization.
  • Find volunteers in the community through the Foothills United Way.
  • If you are a non-profit with a paid internship opportunity, please contact Career Services.
